About the Medicare CampaignFor-profit, privatized health care is a serious threat to your health and your wallet. More for-profit, privatized health care means less public health care – something Canadians cannot afford. Overwhelmingly, Canadians support our public health care system. But there are a small number of powerful opponents, including insurance companies, right-wing politicians and financially motivated doctors, who are trying to sabotage it. The Canadian Health Coalition is a public advocacy organization dedicated to the preservation and improvement of Medicare.
